2017 Theme – way to add "time" to post?

    Hi, in the 2017 theme, in addition to showing the date of post, is there a way to also have it show what time it was posted? Thanks!

    Hi @peanutwee,

    Great question!

    Some themes do offer time post stamps and as you found with the Twenty Seventeen theme, some do not.

    BUT you can manually change that by following these instructions:

    Dashboard –>
    Settings–>
    Writing –>
    Date and Time Format–>

    Now press on Custom and enter this into it –> F j, Y, g:i a
    (If you do not want to show the AM or PM option you can remove the “a”)

    Save settings and go back to your blog posts to see if the time stamp is set!

    This information was found by another volunteer way back in 2011 but I just tried it out and it works :)
