New to The Daily Post? Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, you’re invited to get involved in our Weekly Photo Challenge to help you meet your blogging goals and give you another way to take part in Post a Day / Post a Week. Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography.
Here’s how it works:
1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.
2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use a “postaday2011″ or “postaweek2011″ tag.
3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS.

Ah, light – such a broad spectrum of photography. This is probably my favorite out of all the prompts thus far – I have dozens of photographs of Paris I could use, as well as light refractions. Thanks for another great topic!

This is the first weekly photo challenge I’ve participated in. I’m not a photographer, by any means, but for some reason, I decided to try something new this week. Part of it has to do with my desire to be able to enjoy the roses my husband bought for me for our 10th ann. forever. Maybe. 🙂

Congratulations on your anniversary!!! My husband and I celebrated our fourth yesterday (03.31.2007). I’m not a photographer either, but I like participating in the weekly challenge too. Have a great weekend! 🙂

OK- Good to go! I wanted something different, so check out a bit of Light with Color, Music, and a rather nifty rear-sync trick thrown in for good measure!

I hope it’s ok I didn’t title my post today with the suggested title. I had just blogged this photo and it fits the weekly prompt perfectly.

My first photo challenge post: “Sunrise Drive”. It was different. It’s hard for me to let the photo speak for itself – I still had to contribute my 2 cents (but only 2 :-))
