Welcome to First Friday, a weekly open thread where any new blogger can share a link to his or her very first post with the larger WordPress.com community. To share your first post with us, copy and paste the link right into a comment here. If you’re not new, you can still be a part of First Fridays: visit a link or two, and leave the blogger a like or comment.

Please don’t use this as a space to share your first post…. that you published three years ago; ditto for simply sharing your latest post. Posts should have been published within the last month, and should be your first post. We’ll remove other posts to keep this space focused for new bloggers.

We ask that you help us keep this space focused by following a few additional guidelines:

  • We encourage anyone who shares a link to visit a few other bloggers. New readers for all!
  • When commenting, the third time is not the charm: don’t share the same link repeatedly, or in multiple First Friday threads. We’ll remove repeat posts.

    Until the spring comes again – no season lasts forever…. The idea behind this blog is that life is a like a river… Changing continuously…
    If there s pain there is happiness but inorder to feel happiness we must first experince pain…. Going through misery is wht brings us to appreciate happiness….. So lets continue this journey of autumn until the spring comes again!!!!!!

    I’ve just begun blogging about my year in Germany working as an intern. Hopefully it’ll be a chance for anyone who has similar experiences (or will have in the future) to share theirs!
    Also finding it enjoyable and hoping my writing will improve – so not exactly selfless unfortunately!

    1. Love how conversational your first post is! Don’t worry about being new, as long as your sharing your voice, you’ll slowly find your own unique way to be heard. 😊
      To help, you might want to use tags so people can find your content easily! (I wasn’t sure if you were cause I didn’t see them in your post)

I have many ideas for this blog and I’m very open to ideas and suggestions (esp how to up my picture game, do you see the art book bloggers are posting? Amazing!).     1. Hi Alli! Welcome to blogging – I look forward to see what you post 🙂 Don’t worry about your picture game too much. We aren’t all blessed with artistic skills, let alone beautiful homes and top-quality cameras. Just keep your pics fairly consistent in style (I take all my review pictures the same way in the same spot, for example) and over time, your blog will develop its own identity. Good luck!
