Welcome to First Friday, a weekly open thread where any new blogger can share a link to his or her very first post with the larger WordPress.com community. To share your first post with us, copy and paste the link right into a comment here. If you’re not new, you can still be a part of First Fridays: visit a link or two, and leave the blogger a like or comment.

  6. Hello all. I have two niche blogs going here at WordPress. figureaddicted.WordPress.com is for action figure reviews of all types. The second is kayfabethegimmicks.WordPress.com which is a look at various eras,stars,news etc of professional wrestling. Any feedback is appreciated as I get started in this endeavor.   8. Anxiety

    Hello all, I just started blogging. Life has been a long and challenging trip and I’ve decided to finally have a voice. I’m far from perfect at this and I’m sure it could be written better but I’m learning. Thank you, and if any tips or feedback, please let me know! 😃

    1. One thing I noticed — you’ve used a lot of tags on your post. The WordPress.com Reader actually filters out posts that use more than 15 tags and categories (combined) as an anti-spam measure, so using this many tags actually makes it harder for folks to find your posts, which is sad! If you cut your tags down to the most relevant, you’ll actually draw more readers.

I started my blog last a few weeks ago and I started the blog because I would love to go into fashion journalism as I am super passionate about both writing and fashion and figured a blog would be really good fun and a great place to get some practice, so I would really love any feedback that anyone could give me.     1. A note: Your theme uses post excerpts, so you’ll want to make sure to give each post one — otherwise, you’ll get that “This is a post excerpt” text you have right now. When you’re writing/editing a post, you can find the place to add an excerpt under the “More Options” tab on the right side of the page.
