Where WordPress bloggers support each other with feedback and advice.
Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Are you redesigning your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?
The Community Pool is for peer feedback and advice. Looking for more specific information? Check out some of these resources:
- Learn, a series of step-by-step tutorials for those just starting out.
- All our posts on building an audience and growing your traffic.
- If you’re stuck for inspiration, here are our Daily Prompts and other ideas for writing topics.
- A roundup of posts on blogging etiquette.
Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).
Looking for more information about custom domains, advanced design options, and other enhancements for your blog? Find the WordPress.com plan that’s right for you.
Are you a new blogger looking to share your very first post? We have a special forum for bloggers just like you in our weekly First Friday posts.
To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips and guidelines you might find useful:
- While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
- The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once, as well as for not starting numerous threads in a single Pool.
- If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
- We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother. Also note that including multiple links in your comment might automatically put it in the moderation queue, which will delay its publication.
- Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
- To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
- If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
- No running on the deck.

Hello! I just started my blog yesterday! Still trying to get the hang of this. It’s about being a stay at home mom. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

It looks like you are off to a good start. I have three suggestions. (1) Many people look at About pages, so you’ll want to put something on yours. The content you have in your post “Mom Life” would work on your About page. (2) I noticed several places where you have empty text widgets. That makes it appear that your site is not ready for viewers. If you don’t have anything to put in those, you can remove them. (3) To help people find your posts, it would be good to add a few tags to each post. https://gracelead.co

For me, your post was entertaining. One of my favorite parts was you imaging how the officials at the Alumni Office choose you. “Send all” indeed. I suspect you weren’t the only one unsettled by their methods. I also like the play on words: hurricane vs wind. https://gracelead.co

Good evening friends! It’s been a hectic week here at my house, I seem to be running late in everything. But if you lovely bloggers could give me some feed back on my blog post this week I would greatly appreciate it. Also I would love to return the favor.

I like how simple and easy your DIYs are. My favorite would be DIY 2, simply because I like how the little diamonds add more color to the envelope. I also think your writing is quite eloquent and I like how each quote in your posts fits so well with the content. 🙂

I enjoyed how you shared the path you took to come to your conclusion. I suspect we all have preferences that cause us to struggle in finding the right person. Just as some tall women overlook short men, some short men shy away from tall women. Then there are those who avoid people based on too thin, too heavy, too [whatever]. https://gracelead.co

Hi I’m Jo! 💛 I’m 18 years old and run a mental health awareness blog where I talk about my recovery, share tips and tricks for coping with mental illness, and often publish poetry I’ve written about life experiences especially as a child/young person in the mental health system. Please check out my latest post ‘dinner with a victim’ below. I’ve been very hesitant to post but decided to be brave and take a leap of faith in finally publishing my very raw and personal poem about sexual assault:
