Where bloggers come for friendly feedback and advice.
Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Are you redesigning your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?
The Community Pool is for peer feedback and advice. Looking for more specific information? Check out some of these resources:
- Learn, a series of step-by-step tutorials for those just starting out.
- All our posts on building an audience and growing your traffic.
- If you’re stuck for inspiration, here are our Daily Prompts and other ideas for writing topics.
- A roundup of posts on blogging etiquette.
Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).
Looking for free, self-guided courses to help you get started with your blog (or revive a dormant one)? Check out our current offerings at Blogging U.
To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips and guidelines you might find useful:
- While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
- The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once, as well as for not starting numerous threads in a single Pool.
- If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
- We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother. Also note that including multiple links in your comment might automatically put it in the moderation queue, which will delay its publication.
- Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
- To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
- If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
- No running on the deck.
Are you a new blogger looking to share your very first post? We have a special forum for bloggers just like you in our weekly First Friday posts.

Hello everyone, if you’re interested in reading about how dramatic some guys can be, you may enjoy my post- “the hot guy.” If you’re interested in reading about how terrible I am at dating you might like some of my other posts too. Any feedback would be really appreciated 😊

Dear fellow writers and bloggers,
Happy Friday! The sounds of the printer whirring, the locksmith and the food delivery boys are as much a part of my office as are the employees.
Do read about an evening in office, when this chaos is interrupted by something sweeter and tell me about your office sounds!
And drop in your link as well, I’d love some extra reading. 🙂

As your blog grows (having more and more posts), an archive info at the sidebar might be a good idea. 🙂 Good luck!

You can do it here:

Then drag ‘Archives’ (under ‘Available Widgets’) to the ‘Sidebar’ on the right

Hey everybody! Been blogging for just over a month now and I feel like I’m struggling to reach people. I’m communicative with other bloggers and put my blog out there but would appreciate any tips you guys might have. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, I’ve been blogging/”poeting” on WordPress for the last few months. I try to include a few fun “Q&A” type posts each week to connect with others out there as well. Below I’ve linked a recent poem, and was hoping for any and all advice from fellow writers. I love reading poetry and personal stories too, so if you send me a message or link, I’d love to reach out as well 😀
Happy Friday!

Hello! I’m trying to pick a theme for my blog other then just random ramblings which is what it feels like I’m doing. Do you have anything you’d like to hear about? Do you have feedback for my website setup?

Haha, another fellow lifeguard here! Wasn’t it just hilarious when you repeated these words over and over again to children and you still ended up with teeth through lips, concussions, or bloody noses? Not!

Hey all! I just took my blog from Blogger and brought all of my content to WordPress a few days ago. Blogger doesn’t have anything like a community pool and I’m really excited to share my content and see what others posts people put here for me to discover. Please take a look at my blog and tell me what you think!
