The place for advice, feedback, and friendly blogging chatter.
Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Are you redesigning your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?
The Community Pool is for peer feedback and advice. Looking for more specific information? Check out some of these resources:
- Learn, a series of step-by-step tutorials for those just starting out.
- All our posts on building an audience and growing your traffic.
- If you’re stuck for inspiration, here are our Daily Prompts and other ideas for writing topics.
- A roundup of posts on blogging etiquette.
Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).
Looking for free, self-guided courses to help you get started with your blog (or revive a dormant one)? Check out our current offerings at Blogging U.
To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips and guidelines you might find useful:
- While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
- The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once, as well as for not starting numerous threads in a single Pool.
- If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
- We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother. Also note that including multiple links in your comment might automatically put it in the moderation queue, which will delay its publication.
- Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
- To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
- If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
- No running on the deck.

Hey good people! Hope you had great weekend.
I’m a teenager who loves to eat, sleep and laugh. Anyone who visits my blog will find write ups on a variety of different topics, daily posts, poetry and personal life.
This is the newest poetry/post I’ve written.

Nice content! Good use of images 🙂 My suggestion: consider using more tags. Right now, it looks like you only use one or two — you can use up to 15 tags and categories total; they help readers find your posts. Consider adding “poetry” or “creative writing” or other keywords to help new readers find you.

Hi!!
Are you looking for a girl CRAZY about books, or someone who can give you THE BEST blogging tips! IF the answer is yes to anyone of those, you’ve come to the right place!
Today I’m going to be talking about how to fix that nagging voice inside every blogger ‘Should I quit’. Maybe you don’t hear it too often but you’ve heard it at least once. But there’s a way to get rid of the lurking voice, APPS!
You guessed it, find out the 5 FREE Blogging Apps That Made Me A Better Blogger. I’m only on 300 followers, but these apps are what helped me climb the follow, comment and like ladder! See you there!
https://mybookylife.wordpress.com/2016/10/07/top-5-free-blogging-apps/
But the fun doesn’t stop there. I’m thinking of Blogger Interviews. Wanna get interviewed, gain popularity, be awesome? Then, comment on the link below saying if it’s a good idea or not. If I get enough responses, I’ll set up this AMAZING feature!

I just read your post, It’s great how open and honest to yourself you are, it takes a lot of experience in writing to be able to do that. Also, the way you write just sort of allows for everyone to be able to relate which ties in with the mental imagery. However, the thing you said about actual imagery, I couldn’t really see any. I guess since it’s a post about how movies affected you can’t really go into describing specific things, but maybe specific situations where your learning came into application? Really good post and style otherwise though! 😀

Hello Fastidious,
Thank you for sharing.
I think your concept of pairing the music with the writing is very unique, creative, and interesting.
I tried reading the two most recent posts while playing the music. I am not sure if my system is not allowing it to sound right, or if maybe you are working with limited equipment, which I totally understand as I am doing that with my writing. I wonder if there is a way to ensure that the music sounds clear?
I think it would help the reader to make it a bit more clear what the connection of a particular post is with the music you paired.
It would be so awesome if you continued with this concept!!
Thank you!!!

Hello 🙂
Thank you for sharing your blog!
I think your topics are very interesting. I think when you have included photos in a post, it really helps to draw the reader in.
You may want to consider having a header photo, or something to convey the message of what your blog posts are about, or what your theme is, or what you focus on.
You may also want to consider playing around with color formatting to bring the site together more cohesively.
Thanks !!!
