Welcome to First Friday, a weekly open thread where any new blogger can share a link to his or her very first post with the larger WordPress.com community. To share your first post with us, copy and paste the link right into a comment here. If you’re not new, you can still be a part of First Fridays: visit a link or two, and leave the blogger a like or comment.

Please don’t use this as a space to share your first post…. that you published three years ago; ditto for simply sharing your latest post. Posts should have been published within the last month, and should be your first post. We’ll remove other posts to keep this space focused for new bloggers.

We ask that you help us keep this space focused by following a few additional guidelines:

  11. Hey everyone. Below is my link to my page ( I think). I’m very new to this, today’s the first day. I’m not looking to become a professional blogger. I’m a 25 year old that’s finding herself as well as Christ and trying to spread my journey of doing so. Not too sure how this blow world operates or if I’m doing it right or making myself look dumb.   16. I’ve only written two posts so far, so feedback on either would be great. It would be good for me to find out whether or not my writing is on the right track before I continue making blog posts! My very first was about giving back to your community, and the one I posted tonight is a letter thanking college best friends. I REALLY appreciate feedback from the WordPress community because so far I haven’t been getting much traffic from other bloggers. Thanks so much.

  20. Hi All, I’m very new to blogging! I’m a PhD student studying mental health, and I’m also a part-time lecturer. My first blog is about reflecting on my own performance as a researcher.
