Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Did you recently start your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?

Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).

To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips you might find useful:

TIP: To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.

  • While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
  • The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once!
  • If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
  • We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother.
  • Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
  • If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
  • No running on the deck.

I’m attempting to write in an accessible manner and hopefully will continue to get better, but again, ANY feedback is appreciated! Thanks to all, and I’ll be sure to do the same!
    ❤ Thank you in advance.

    1. I really like all of your products. You seem to thrive off patterns and simplicity. Also liked reading about the road trip, it allows the reader or purchaser to get to know the artist more which usually makes a purchase much more intimate. Keep it up!

      1. Yeah I try to switch up the content a little bit but keep it mainly focused on my art and designs. Thanks for your feedback! I will continue to do that!

    2. I’m new to WordPress, but it would be nice if the links to our products opened new tabs instead of taking you in the same window. That’s really just a personal preference. I like your designs a lot!

    1. Your layout is very user friendly, and the pictures catch the eye. Great blog! I agree about the random jump between recipes and compost though, maybe dividing your posts into categories might help?

  4. Hey everyone! I recently starting my blog (last week actually!) and I know it is very new but I would love some feedback! It’s about Celiac disease and deals with issues living with an autoimmune disorder so I know not everyone can relate but I am hoping that it still provides a good read. If you like, please follow me and I hope to post much more in the future(I only have a couple posts as of now). Any and all feedback is welcome and greatly appreciated! http://www.thethrivingceliac.com

    1. You have a great forum for helping others with Celiac Disease by giving them information and direction on how better to help themselves through diet changes and all of the healthy gluten-free foods/options that are available these days. Encouragement and positive messages might bring people back to your blog on a regular basis. Good luck!

      1. Hey I really Like your layout and the pictures are really cool. I also love to travel and I know that some of the craziest and most interesting stories occur while traveling. Perhaps you could post about that and keep the pictures coming!
