Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Did you recently start your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?

Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).

To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips you might find useful:

TIP: To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.

  • While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
  • The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once!
  • If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
  • We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother.
  • Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
  • If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
  • No running on the deck.

      1. I can so relate to your blog about travelling with a pet. I haven’t been on anything more than a day trip in nearly two years because I can’t bear to leave my dog. She’s my baby. I want to take her to the after Labor Day when the beaches clear up. Thanks for the inspiration. Following you…

  2. GREETINGS, LOVELY BLOGGERS!
I’ve recently posted about an american sitcom that I feel people have forgotten! I admire the show very much and a, proud that I finally came around to blogging about it. https://thecinemabliss.wordpress.com/2015/08/12/the-underrated-comedy-mixology/
I’d love it and appreciate it if some of you checked it out. Maybe your thoughts on my post. 🙂 Oh, and I will definitely return the love, and perhaps follow back! Have a splendid day, guys!

  3. WordPress.com had a blog post for us last wk. about using some free tools to make infographics and other visuals for our blogs.

    So here’s what I tried out: https://cyclewriteblog.wordpress.com/2015/08/14/crafting-my-personal-blogger-infographic/

If you have basic Excel skills, then dealing with the pseudo statistical chart graphic isn’t tough. But you do have to plan a tad for the whole infographic. It was lots of fun…and found it addictive. Anyone else try Picktochart or similar tools?

  4. Happy Friday Friends,

I just started blogging the other day. I set it up as a means to express my views on everyday things (pop culture, history, politics) and to practice writing.

My blog is also serving as a way to show my progress in this new fitness program that is slowly making a name for itself. I open the door to anybody willing to join in. The program is known as Nutrie and the core concept that the company follows is that of “one simple change”. Anybody who is interested or even intrigued check out the video provided below. Let me know if you want in and I’ll help you get set up.

I mentioned practicing writing and that is because I classify myself as a writer. I have been writing a book in my spare time over the past few months and it sits at 120 pages. The book is not on here, but I could use some insight into what is good and what is not so good.

Hope to hear from you guys.

  5. Ive only just began my bog, I’ve only ever kept my photo’s, thoughts and feelings to a recluse amount of family members and friends, and so feedback would be somewhat amazing.

  6. A few people have mentioned they can’t comment on my blog posts, even if they can comment on other wordpress posts, is there something I need to enable all comments? I do get some.
    Thanks

  7. I have just published two new Christian posts this morning, as well as new ones that I have published this past week, including a short biography of “Peanuts” cartoonist Charles M. Schultz; I am in the planning stages of writing more drafts for future posts for my blog in the coming days, so I would very much like to appreciate it if you would please tell your friends about my blog, which is called Dream In Music, as well as provide the feedback that I ever so desperately need for my posts this past week! Thank you so very much!-JW 🌹
