Two new ebooks to inspire you to write and edit your own work.
You may also be interested in our other free ebooks, (again, all are available in .pdf, .mobi, and .epub formats):
- 365 Writing Prompts — A New Writing Prompt for Every Day of the Year
- Photography 101 — The Fundamentals of Photography and Photoblogging
- Grow Your Traffic, Build Your Blog — How to Find and Grow Your Blog’s Audience and Traffic
You’ve always wanted to write, but you haven’t had time to participate in our recent Writing 101 and Writing 201 Blogging U. courses — life just wedges itself in your way.
We’ve made the content from these two writing courses available in ebook format so now, you can download the books and work on your writing as your life allows.
Writing 101: Build a Blogging Habit offers 20 writing prompts, complete with fun twists to gently nudge your muse and fill up your dashboard with new drafts. You’re free to work on the prompts in order or switch them up to meet your needs as a writer.
Writing 201: Finding Your Story is packed full of tips, tricks, samples, and suggestions to help you evaluate your first drafts, read them with an editor’s eye, and revise, edit, and hone your work. This self-guided course will help you find your story’s unique angle, teach you how to craft compelling introductions and hooks, give you leads on finding your story’s key moment, and encourage you to write cinematically.
Both ebooks are available in .pdf, .mobi (Kindle), and .epub (iBooks) formats.

That’s actually very handy. I suppose I will go for Writing 201 using the ebook instead. Thanks! 🙂

Thank you! Having them in ebook to do at my own pace! This traveling has kept me from doing all the prompts. Now I can do them on my own.

Good stuff. I had never really thought about the title slug until I opened the SEO section. Now I’m going to be hypervigilent about them in all my posts. Thanks.

Thank you, thank you!!! What a treat — the ebooks themselves, plus the oh-so-affordable price tag :-). I was surprised and very grateful when I realized the books were free. (That doesn’t seem to happen much anymore). They’re exactly what I’ve been needing, and an absolute joy to read.
In my current financial state (eg, flat broke), I’m thrilled to receive this unexpected and perfect-for-me gift. Who knows? Maybe I’ll actually do something crazy … like write my first post!
Thanks again! My best to you, Maureen

Thank you so much! In fact, I will share with another family member who is also learning to blog. I have 6 posts on my blog, and she has 7 posts. We are in a self-imposed race to see who gets to 50 posts first! (but having a slow start). Thanks again.

Thank you soooo much! It came at the perfect time as I was struggling to write my very first blog EVER! You saved me with this valuable information. I’m using Writing 101 (what better place to start) and I wasn’t as scared to press the publish button as I would have been without this post! Again, thank you
