  1. I’m interested in getting feedback on my page: http://praxillaofsicyon.wordpress.com/ . Please note that it is NSFW and 18+. It is a page for my art (Horror Photography/Film, mainly). Currently I am trying to alternate between my art, quotes/lyrics that inspire me, art that inspires me, music i’m currently listening, etc etc so that I don’t run out of content and also just to change it up. That is the format i’m going with and the one that seems to work best on other sites, such as Twitter (Which i’m linking my post to). Suggestions welcome…

  2. Hello! I just re-started my fashion blog but I’m getting a little concerned that my content is a little bit too niche and that it’s not anything anyone is interested in.

Any tips on engaging people to be interested? Have I been doing that? I think the best way to tell is to check my blog out for yourself here: http://http://allyshanila.wordpress.com/

Be as honest as you can, but constructive, please. Also, what topics interest you? Do you see it being related to fashion?

    Cheers! 🙂

  3. I wanted a visual blog about place and the people and things therein. I’m cool with the content; photos and text, and I enjoy the people I’ve been meeting.

I am very displeased with the look of my blog. The image is the thing. My last post: The Fleet illustrates the problem. My photo puts you there on the boat. There is a cute ginger boy on the rail of Jalapeno. You can’t see these things unless you click. Feedback for a more dynamic theme would be appreciated. Thanks!

    1. Admin:
Please pardon and clean up my hiccup. I was getting bogged down in “unresponsive script” warnings and then told the post was unsuccessful.

  5. I am a Horror photographer and screenwriter. So the purpose of my blog is to showcase my art, as well as the things which inspire me (Quotes, music currently listening to, short blog post about projects, though I don’t want to get too chatty, etc) I could use some feedback on whether or not it is engaging, interesting artistically pleasing/easy on the eye, etc http://praxillaofsicyon.wordpress.com/.

  6. Wow I am pretty new to blogging. I started my blog about a week ago at http://livelikeyourgrandparents.wordpress.com when I got laid off and we are thinking of moving to a remote island. Is this something you would read? Does the thought of reading a family’s journey from living in the city to living off the grid interest you? We are still in the decision-making process and I’m not 100% sure we are going to be making the move.

  9. Hi I am a freelance nurse, yes it can be difficult but initially you have to determine to yourself which field or type of freelance you would like to be. To get started, try Odesk.com, I am not promoting the site but it has great pool of employer who can hire you if you are good at something that they can use on their business etc. Well, as to improving your writing skills maybe you can start by reading good books, broadsheet newspaper and practicing ofcourse. Have someone like a partner who is willing to proof read your work. Also, try to get some topic and write down your insight. Enrolling in a course is also not a bad idea=) Enjoy!

  10. Hi community! I recently started a secondary blog where I simply post creative works/writing exercises and this morning I posted a short poem. I really mainly use this blog for this as I know there are people who enjoy that style of writing and because it doesn’t really fit into the style of my primary blog.

Anyway, I’d love some feedback on the poem.

Also, would love some feedback on the blog as a whole. Is there anything you’d do differently?

  11. I approach my writing with fierce ignorance of structure. I do not believe in writing principles, I allow my words to flow. My work is far from perfect, but alas it is mine and it embodies more about me than you may realise.

My biggest inspiration however is all the love from what I encounter in this world. Read, love, laugh, hate or despise my work, the choice is yours. I invite you to experience one of those with me by reading my work. My latest poem is called the pain heart.
