  2. HI everyone. I, like many others that were drawn to this post, am trying to create my first blog. It is meant to be humorous, crazy, and possibly even insightful. I am not sure yet whether I would like to create short jokes or longer stories related to my life (though i’ve been trying a little of both).     2. Since you want openness: No, and no. If you know what you want to say and how you want to say it, then a review doesn’t matter. If you don’t, then you don’t need a reviewer, you need advice. So the concept of site reviewer doesn’t make sense.

I also love that have an array of interests which helps appeal to multiple audiences. Personally, I prefer the beauty aspect, I’m a history nerd, but keep doing your thing!

    1. Hi there, when i read through your blog, i like the fact that its pretty much about your day to day life. Include a page that says a little about you to introduce yourself to the readers. Some people write for others while some write for themselves. Either way, if it gives you a sense of freedom and a place to unfold your thoughts, I’d say its a success.

I like that your blog has different facets – not everyone automatically connects science with beauty! What might be good with the make up reviews etc is a couple of photos of what they look like on you as well.

  19. To celebrate my blog’s one year anniversary, I recently changed my theme to Twenty Thirteen. I have been waiting for a theme like this as the colours and simple structure suit me perfectly. But I am also aware that such bold colours are not the usual way for blogs. I would like to get some feedback from others about how I have used colour on my blog (e.g. how it impacts the reader) and whether the structure is clear and easy to navigate.

    Please be brutally honest in your assessments – good, bad or indifferent.
    I don’t scare easily; and I really do want to hear what you have to say.

  20. Hi, everyone! It’s fun to see such a community here. I’m new to WordPress myself, and only very recently started my blog. I kinda wanted a space where I can record down some key moments of my life, or simply to document down new experiences – anything to keep my writing from going rusty because I’m not in a job where I get many opportunities to write, and I may want to explore writing as a career in the future, in some form.

    1. Hi there, the blog theme is once and clean. easy to navigate but I’d definitely put in a few words in the ‘about’ page. You could also maybe increase the font of your text a little. Regarding the writing of the posts, I’d suggest to highlight a few words/sentences where necessary especially in a long post.

    1. I really like the naturalness of your tone, because “naturalness” is actually much harder to achieve than you make it seem! My one suggestion on the page design would be to please use a darker color for your text. That pale teal is very difficult to read. A dark teal would be great.
