Community Pool: NaNoWriMo/NaBloPoMo Edition

The Community Pool is for those of you looking for input, whether on post ideas, writing, blog design and layout, or anything else. If you have a post, page, or idea you want to bounce off someone, leave a comment. Your fellow bloggers can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).

Welcome to the Community Pool: NaNoWriMo/NaBloPoMo edition! As always, the thread is open for any questions, but we hope those of you participating in a NaMo event will find it a useful space to get feedback and encouragement. Read on for the ground rules and to leave a comment . . .

  • You’ll get the best feedback if you can be as specific as possible about what you’d like people to respond to or where you’re struggling.
  • Please keep all comments civil and constructive. We’re here to help and support one another, not to beat anyone down.
  • If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
  • To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
  • No running on the deck.

  1. Having committed to the NaBloPoMo posts I’m up and writing which is a great step forward. I managed to successfully link one post to the NaBloPoMo site and receive feedback (lovely). However, the next to posts I tried to link came up with a not able to find the page. Can someone please let me know what URL we are supposed to be copying into the little widget thin gee at the bottom of the page?

My father recently passed away which took me away from so much. Anyway, I would like to begin using my website but have no idea how to connect it to other sites i have posted in in the past and would like to begin writing if anything to cope with the loss of my father, among others. Thank you in advance for any help. My website through wordpress is http://www.magicmothra.com. Sincerely, Melissa Gardner Barker >

Any photo critique is also welcome.
