  4. Hi Community! I have been writing some blog posts in the voices of characters from my novel. I am curious to know if what I have written would intrigue you to know more about them… Do these little snapshots into their personalities work for you? I attach one below. If anyone feels like giving me their thoughts I would love to hear them, good, bad or indifferent. New novelist, new blogger, in a brand new world. Exciting but filled with mystery at the same time. Any feedback I consider good feedback! Thanks all.

  12. I just started blogging for the first time ever a few days ago and i don’t know a lot about it. I was hoping maybe a few veterans of the blogosphere could take a look at my blog and tell me what you think. I was really hoping for suggestions on the appearance, how to get the name out there, and what to do to maybe make it a little more interesting.

  13. Thanks for the Community Pool post! That’s very nice to offer, especially for new bloggers.

    I started my blog just 5 days ago, using the Full Frame theme, and I can’t make up my mind whether to use or keep the header. I customized it a little bit so it was shorter, and it seems to be where the tagline appears, but having it in place means a little scrolling is required to see the latest posts.

    I’m happy with how the header appears, but without it, the nav bar and title would sit nicely at the top, with the latest post clearly visible. I do love the theme in general, and am thrilled to be posting on wordpress.com!

    Should I keep or disable the header?

  17. I’m looking for some real general feedback on my blog. I am new to using WordPress and I had the idea to start a blog rather than a journal. What do you think of the layout and content? How could it be improved? Do you have any suggestions for how I could make my blog more appealing for others to post on, as I’d love for others to add their own ideas and opinions.. Thank you!

  19. Any comments and tips are appreciated, like most here, I am new to the WordPress thang, and I would like to know if I am doing a good job at being…uhhh… catchy? Entertaining? Informative? All of those things and then some?

    I write mainly about day to day life in the Philippines, but I don’t live directly in the city so I don’t know if my blog is ‘enough’ to hold people and have them come back. I have ten followers, but I’ve noticed most of them are all members of the same pyramid-scheme-style… thing.

  21. I am definitely new to blogging… I tend to write what I think, what’s going on in my life, and it is probably not all of too interesting to anyone else LOL..But I have some family on here that likes to keep up with me, so I keep doing it. Good luck to everyone!!!
