    1. Hello well I don’t know your name although I even look in the about me in your website.

      If is not a secret or a very ugly name it will be nice that you start the about me with your name, that (believed or not create a rapport with your visitors) give you credibility. Do not sub estimate the power of your name. Talk about what you want to achieve with this blog, what visitor will enjoy visiting you .In resume a little more of text there in the about me will be very beneficial, and why not; a very attractive photo of a group of people having a good time in from of the TV will be awesome.
      I know is a new site, you are probably looking still for the right theme and that special photo for your headed but as a visitor hear goes my suggestion:
      Select a template with the principal body black (you are talking about TV, Movies and so and so. The color in the screen of the TV or movie theater is BLACK, that subconscious will vibrate in your visitors mind that will show your are serious about the entertaining business.
      What you do when you want to look a good TV program? you go and dark the room to minimize distraction and concentrate in the images in the screen. The same apply for a website when you are going to deal with a lot of images, use your background dark that way the images will pop. To better understand what I say I suggest you visit your competition in the web or (although is not the same thematic apply the same principle) visit for a moment arthistorysummary.info. You can do wonders with a free theme using your imagination. Keep things simple do not over complicate your blog and you will be fine.

I’m glad that the comment has been helpful for you, I forgotten to tell you that when you analyze the others web sites on the same subject as yours (look at the pros in their pages and what are cons), them get your own conclusion and find that lacks to yours to be as good as the better site that you saw and how can improve yours with something best that is now missing on their sites. (Concentrate in what you would like to see and find as a visitor they don’t have).

    1. Jessica I have to say to you, I personally was engage in and instant with the content, loved the recipe with mango tartletts.
      I would like in my personal opinion that the wide destined to the text body was a llittle big than it is now. I don’t know is your theme allow that, but it will be much better since you could use the space at the full potencial and aIso visitors don’t need to scroll far down in your site.

      I send the recipe to print but took to much space more than one sheet, All the recipe in just one sheet is better to keep in my recipe book, see what I mean? edit is you can the recipe explanation and that way it would looks like is and easy recipe to do, people can get really scare that because is long can be as well complicate. Make the visitors feel confortable.

      Use the sides of the principal body text with for example: previous post list or text with next good things coming to keep the visitor coming for more or subscribe to see what you are preparing for them. Keep this side text updated always with new notices. (like the previous of the movies do in the commecials)

      When you open a site what is in the range of the first visual (before you need to scroll down) is what make visitors dicide to stay or leve. Remember that. You are now lossing this oportunity.
      You can put a video of someone making the pastry. or slide show or something atractive.

      In the post “Momentary masterpice” try to use a beautiful photo of the sunset, that will help.

      Use visual elements when ever you can.Think always about….
      – what is that element that will caugh the visitor attention in the blink of an eye?, remember you are( as we all) a click away to be change or close for another site.
      – What will make me to stop and read the poem? Make your self questions like that.

      I hope you get what I mented.

  10. I’ve just joined today. What to write? I’ll let my mind read my conciousness. I’m looking for a way to express myself without talking about MYSELF too much. How? Photos maybe. Would appreciate any tips to help me along 😀 My first post is just a gallery of my trip to Madrid. Any idea how I can post the full gallery to my home page without it being redirected to another page to view it?

  11. I would really love feedback about my site. Went to .com a few months ago but only get a few comments. I like to use images and YouTube videos. Found the perfect video for the post “The Player Piano Player” where you can actually see and hear a player piano playing. Please feel free to leave your comments either here or on my site.     I posted a comment here a few days ago and can’t find it. Did the moderator remove it or am I missing something? Anywho, I don’t see anything wrong with what I wrote and find it extremely rude and arrogant of the moderator if they did remove it!

    All I wanted to know was if this is the place to get feedback on themes which I am developing to submit to the WP repo. If not, would someone mind pointing me in the right direction? Happy to point a link to the development version of the theme if this is the right place. Thanks so much in advance.
