  2. Hello Everyone!

    I just made some changes to a page on my blog where I share ESL/EFL teacher blogs. I wanted to make it easier for readers to find the blogs that are most relevant or interesting to them by putting possible keywords in bold. I also added bullets to distinguish a new listing.

    Could you take a look at it, and tell me whether it looks okay? For example, I was thinking of changing the titles to brown instead of blue, leaving off the bullets and/or changing the color of the keywords. I am open to any suggestions as I want it to be appealing and organized.

    1. I love the idea – very witty and original. I can see what you are trying to do with the colour scheme – and, whilst the red is a tad eye-wrenching, I think that is in keeping with the character of your alter ego!
      I would love to see longer pieces because I think you have a great style!

  4. Hello wordpress. My blog is called ‘The Paradoxical Paradigm’. Took me some time to come up with that one. Could you maybe take just a little peek and let me know if it looks any good? Everyone needs an aesthetically pleasing blog.

  8. Hey! I am new to blogging. Does anyone have any advice as to my navigation? I think my blog is pretty easily navigable but I obviously know all of my categories is so for me I understand it 100%. I am hoping that for someone who has NO IDEA what my blog is about, they can go to it and get the picture as to what’s going on RIGHT away. Plus, I want my mom will be able to navigate it. Moral: I want everything to be BLATANTLY obvious as to how to get from subject to subject, etc and I want the general idea of the blog to be obvious. Sorry if this was really long winded!     1. I’ve looked at your blog and I have one area of confusion (that’ll look really embarrassing) but… the ‘posts’ section, contains all your posts, right? Can I recommend you change that to ‘archive’ or ‘all posts’ just to make it a bit more obvious.

      The ‘Auxiliar tips’ is odd to me. As in, I don’t actually know what it’s for. It seems like it’s for travel tips etc but you haven’t actually written that. Why not write it in English since your blog is written in English?

      1. Thanks! Archives instead of Posts is a great idea! I should have thought of that because yes that is just all of my posts in the same category. Auxiliar Tips are travel tips dedicated to “Auxiliares de conversacion” I am going to be working as an auxiliar next year which is why I am making posts directed to them! Thanks a bunch!

        Also, glad you liked the post! I had fun writing it!

    1. For me, I always initially find the negative in people, no idea why! I mean, after 5 minutes of a conversation the initial negativity goes away but sometimes I have to fight with myself to find the positive in things. This post will give readers an opportunity to reflect on having more generally positive feelings towards other! Great!! Thanks for the post!

  27. Hi everyone! I’m pretty new here so I was hoping a few of you would take a minute to check out my blog http://itsmejesss.wordpress.com/

    I’m worried about my use of gifs and white space and if it’s balanced enough. I get kind of OCD about the appearance of things sometimes! Also my entries seems to be all over the place, I haven’t been able to decipher any overall theme for the blog. Do you think this is important?

    Anyways, I just published my 5th (woohoo) post and I’m looking for some feedback from people other than my friends (they have to be nice). Thanks in advance!
