Community Pool

The Community Pool is for those of you looking for input, whether on post ideas, writing, blog design and layout, or anything else. If you have a post, page, or idea you want to bounce off someone, leave a comment. Your fellow bloggers can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).

Read on for the ground rules and to leave a comment . . .

  • You’ll get the best feedback if you can be as specific as possible about what you’d like people to respond to or where you’re struggling.
  • Please keep all comments civil and constructive. We’re here to help and support one another, not to beat anyone down.
  • If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
  • To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
  • No running on the deck.

  1. Hi everyone…I am new to blogging and art. I recently made a big career decision and decided to follow my passion as an artist and an animator. There is so much to learn, I always feel lost.

It would be great if i could get some suggestion on how to present my artwork better. Like should i describe them more? write something about them? or any kind of suggestions are welcome actually.

I started off on blogger and moved over to wordpress 2 days ago and love the site. Seeing the stats on the page is very encouraging and i have some likes but would like feedback to see what needs to be changed if anything at all.
    Thank you

  4. Hello bloggers, I have just started a blog a week ago. So far I’ve posted whatever seems to be on my mind. I anticipate that future posts will similarly seem as random: travel, photography, exercise, reading, family, music, science, etc. Should I take a more focused approach or is it acceptable to be that scatter-brained? Also, since I haven’t spent a lot of time writing or reading blogs I’m worried that there may be some rules or blogging etiquette that I am not yet aware of and would appreciate learning about some of the things that you’ve learned along the way. Finally, I would like to participate in a community of bloggers with similar interests. How do you begin meaningful dialogue and friendships with other bloggers? I would appreciate your input. Thank you! http://thedavinciapprentice.wordpress.com/

  5. Greetings fellow Bloggers!

I would really appreciate some feedback on my blog’s new look and feel. It used to be rather boring, as a solution I decided to add some colour, although I suspect I might have blurred the fine line separating a Bold and Colourful design and too much 🙂

    Thanks and Regards,
