Love versus Goliath
Goliath seemed about the best description for me of what we were up against.
I linked to the graphic on this page because I felt it summed it up for me so well. I’d love to use this as the cover of our book, but I can’t seem to contact the artist, no matter how I try!

Straight and simple, it’s called “Mike Hardisty Photography” because I’m Mike Hardisty and 99.99% of the articles on my blog are about photography.

Daily Stories. That way I remind me that it can’t be that hard to find little stories and events during the day for the Daily Post.

Mine is simple as well. I am a “red letter Christian”. Writing is my profession. And, well, I’m a documentation diva!

I wanted to say something about myself without saying “Lisa’s Lines” or such. Cyclingrandma I thought was sort of different and cool. Though my family has trouble getting around the grandma part- but it’s the truth! I cycle and I’m a grandmother!

Tried to include as many subjects as possible as I intended -and try- to write about almost everything. Also thought to be relevant with the biggest part of me which is -together with a human being- a woman.

Sigh. Because I let my kids pick my email address and Etsy doesn’t let you use anything else when you set up a shop. So: Nantucket-that’s where I live, all year, yes, people live here all year. Tie-I weave neckties into chair seats-I love it and the winters are, um, long. I’ve sold a few. Chic-wish I was, that part’s my artsy daughter’s contribution. I’m more of a button down
shirt and jeans kind of girl. I’m working on a necktie headband and barrette line which might be considered chic. My friends all pronounce my blog this way: Nantucketey chick. Like I said, sigh.

I don’t think you should add the sigh. I like that story, and it’s a pretty cool name too. I would say it the same was as your friends.

Life sometimes throws you curve balls when you least expect them. My most latest curve ball was in the shape of a Rock so I’m just rolling with it.

I originally chose Life . in . Review because I wanted to reflect on the things going on in my life, but I immediately thought that wasn’t enough to grasp readers. Now my blog is about reviewing aspects of language, literature, and cultures to broaden the mind and expand vocabulary. I have Say What? Wednesdays, where I define an uncommon word, use it in a sentence, and encourage others to use it; VERSUS, where I identify misused word pairs and help explain proper use (like further vs farther and seen vs saw); book reviews; and reviews of my recent travels. I think I’m also going to start reviewing businesses, but I’m not sure when. Check it out if you want to beef up your language skills and learn something new!

We moved to New York from London with me in a daze . . . hence the name and my attempt to explain the occasional view from the days which followed “nylondaze.com” – it seemed like a good idea at the time!

My blog name is analyfe, a combination of the words “analyze” and “life”. Although it arose from the frustration of every other name being taken, I’ve grown to love it and it think it suits my blog ver well. 🙂

I am constantly trying to define and understand my self and my life. Searching for what makes me tick. I have ADD and a large part of dealing with the issues it causes in my life revolves around experimentation, self-exploration and the ability to step back and measure one’s thoughts and actions carefully.

I’ve been using this code for years in any sites, games, etc. STIX because I’m a drummer, then “princesz” because I’m the 2nd drummer girl in our church, the “queen” is the one who taught me how to play drums whom I assume and treated as my mother 😀

I’ve began to believe more and more that the ‘sense’ we talk or think about often is gradually getting depleted. A senseless civilization is outdoing the good old sensible and sensitive civilization steadily to the peril of the very concept of civilization which we learnt from the process of evolution of mankind.
I’ve been sort of encouraged by my inner self to start ‘nonsense’ writing. Hence my UPSIDEDOWN blog under the banner title blahblahbirbal. I believe in laughing for the sake of laughing and I like all whom I know and all whom I don’t know to join me. Amen.

Shak’s #SHLOGG.
I’ve come up with the term #SHLOGG, simply meaning a short blog. I intend to keep all my posts interesting, yet of a digestable length so that people will actually be bothered to read them admist the million other things they’ve got going on.
And alliteration is cheesy but can also be good 🙂

The name of my blog [Believe Anyway] is to remind myself (and readers) of the need to hang in there despite or even because of the trials, tribulations, sorrows, and joys in life. I started my blog for therapeutic reasons for myself. Now that I have been at it awhile…http://BelieveAnyway.wordpress.com/2011/08/09/

My blog name 40again is a tongue-in-cheek reference to ageing after reading somewhere that 60 is now considered the “new” 40. So I am 40again. I like the idea of having somewhere where I can write about things that happen that interest me ,make me laugh – or cry. I love the idea of a blog although was quite wary at first thinking it was for “other people” not me. How wrong can you be
