lots of hings keep me up at night. Two main ones right now: how do I pay the balance of the legal fees I spent to just get my civil rights upheld and where do I get the airfare money to bring my family home? Of course leaving my husband behind after this visit is going to keep me awake too, plus worrying about our children.
I guess I have a lot of things keeping me awake.

I fall asleep very quickly, that is if I don’t start thinking about stuff. I do that sometimes. Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to sleep. I like to do creative work late at night, when the world around me is quiet, and sleep seems such a waste of time. Then again, I love dreams.
Sunday is Oscars Night. I will stay up all night.

My daughter. She almost never fails to wake up in the middle of the night. I thought that at 2 she would be past this by now. Sleep helps me get past it.

Wondering if I’ll make a difference in this world. If I’ll be the change I want to see. If I’ll find love. If I’ll travel to all the places I yearn to travel. If I’ll live a meaningful life. My thoughts are loud, insistent, and rarely wane in time for a good nights sleep.

what doesn’t keep me up at night is a better question? worries, wonder, thinking, noises, dogs, cats, fear, anxiety, but my restless mind is the real reason though.

I also am one of those people who gets occasional insomnia. Both the type where I can’t fall asleep and the type where I fall asleep fine then wake up and can’t go back to sleep. My mind won’t shut up at these times. It’s worse if I’ve watched something about war or cruelty to humans or animals right before bed. This is why I don’t watch the nightly newscast.

Worrying about trying to get to sleep keeps me awake at night. Being excited about what Im going to be doing the next day, keeps me up at night. Having an article to write keeps me up at night oh… and these things too; being hungry, needing to wee but not wanting to get up, hubby snoring, babies crying, worrying, just not being tired, and luuurv!

~night is a nice time to think, analysis about anything
~if something bothers me it keeps me up at night,
~forget? hmm…sometimes it’s so hard to forget, sometimes it’s so sad that i forget it, so i don’t try so hard to forget it, time will heal it ;P
