Topic #54
Here’s a meta topic, which should illustrate that if you don’t know what to blog about, you can always write about how you write.
How do you decide when a post is ready to publish?

I feel pretty good after I’ve scheduled to publish, that the post is finished. But I edit a lot. I think I’m much funnier the 2nd or 3rd or 4th time through. http://www.saywhatyouwill.net/archives/1787

Every article should have a beginning, a middle and an end. Once you have this ‘sandwich’ there should be nothing else to say. But I do edit a lot after I have published, as I can see things that need tweeking , and so I tweek, Then I sit back and read it like my readers would do. If it sounds ok and reads ok then BINGO it’s finished!

Any article should have a beginning , a middle, and an end. Once this ‘sandwich ‘has been made , proofchecked and thenI press the PUBLISH button with an air of complete confidence. Then I look at the finished blog, then I tweak and then I tweak again. Then I read it as my readers would read it. If I am happy, then they are happy and that really is what it is all about

Because I’m never at a loss for words, in writing, and sometimes in person, my post literally pours from my fingertips. It helped that my last job was as a TWA labor relations paralegal. I learned to write as a result of researching, and writing, briefs for lawyers. I do tweak for grammar and better ways to express a thought. But I don’t agonize too long. I just want to get the post out of my head, published, and move on to the next.
i have no choice in churning out posts…words and thoughts cut me no slack…hugmamma. 🙂

I decide when a post is ready when I go through it a couple of times, leave it for an hour or so, and if I go back to it and it still seems good, It’s ready to post.
I try to be as objective as possible and, of course, check for any mistakes.
