Thank you not merely for highlighting these lovely nature blogs, but also for your thoroughly old-school assumption that Earth Day ought still to be primarily about nature and biodiversity. I don’t believe we’ll ever be sufficiently inspired to limit our numbers and our appetites unless and until we fall in love with the biosphere and its inhabitants.

We’ll be having a celebration at our county Courthouse, Helen Keller Home and Tenn Valley Art Center in Tuscumbia, Al. If I can still get into my 1995 Earth Day T-shirt, I’ll have that on.

I always celebrate earth day…leave tvs, lights radios, and any other unecessary electronics I have on. Leave the shower and faucets running without using them and take a shower later. I’ll go green this year…use cold water instead of hot water

I have earth day every day, live for and with the earth. I have gardened all my life, always trying to beautify somewhere. I stopped buying plants and planters a few years back, everything is recycled either from my own yard or someone elses……. Help yourself, help a friend, trade plants and ideas to make less waste

Yes earth day is a special day to enhance natures beauty. It is also my birthday do in grade school every year on my bday instead of wearing a cute bday outfit I had to dress sluggish because the whole school spent the day picking up trash on school grounds. I was NOT happy!
