Whatcha Clickin’?
We’ve been tracking a bit of extra information on your blogs for the past few weeks and now we’re ready to show it to you: clicks. Whenever somebody clicks a link on your blog it should be counted. You can see the results on your Blog Stats page.
I really hate to write such a short news post but it’s just that simple. 🙂
Update: Blog user clicks should now be excluded and there is now a Top Clicks widget.

Q: Does this count my own clicks? There are clicks showing up to my Dashboard and creating a new post, which could only be me, right?

This is a nice feature. Obviously my clicks are from people who look for music “freebies”. I just wish it also tracks how many times an entry is being viewed/clicked. Do you think this little plugin can be added to the themes as well?

Yay! Another widget. I loved the “Clicks” stats and now I can allow everyone else to see them. I love widgets! Why anyone would bother with a theme that does not have them is beyond me. 🙂

Something you could do is have a widget to show the “top referall links.” So those who want to can put a widget up to show which links refer to your blog the most.
So it’s like the “top clicks” widget, but only instead of showing the top out going links it shows the top incoming links.
If that makes any sense…

Really nice. It would be great if you could select wich Table you want to see first. I mean, instead of Key words and clicks General Statistics and References first. Modify like you want to be informed.
Keep on the good work.

I hope the next installment is to have a cool history graph like you have for the post views. Adding them all up is hard since they aren’t in the same order every day.
