WordPress.com Store: Third-Party Plugins Terms

On WordPress.com, you can choose from many thousands of plugins to extend the functionality of your site. Many of these plugins are developed by third-party developers, even if purchased through WordPress.com.

In addition to our Terms, you may be subject to the third party’s terms as well, such as their terms of service and privacy policy. Some third-party plugins may request or require access to your data — or to your visitors’ or customers’ data — through things like pixels or cookies. If you use the third-party plugins or grant them access, the data will be handled in accordance with the third party’s privacy policy and practices, which you should carefully review before using.

Third-party plugins are not controlled by Automattic and we aren’t responsible for issues you may have with them. We’ll try and help you where possible, but may not be able to provide support for issues caused by plugins we haven’t developed. If you need support or have questions or concerns about how a third-party plugin operates, the third-party developer will work with you directly to provide support.

We’ve included a representative list of third-party plugin terms below for ease of reference, but for the most current and applicable information, you should visit the website related to the third-party plugin for more information.
