Eligibility

AI tools are available for:

• Sites on the Business and Commerce plans.
• Sites created with the AI Website Builder on any paid plan.

Enable the AI assistant

Note: The AI assistant works best with block themes. If you’re using a classic theme, the AI assistant won’t appear in the editor. However, you can still generate AI images in the media library.

To enable AI tools on your site:

1. Visit your hosting dashboard.
2. Click the ⋮ (three dots) button in the action menu next to any eligible site.
3. Select Settings.
4. Click the AI tools section.
5. Toggle “Enable AI assistant” on.

Once enabled, you’ll find a “Ways to get started” section with four options:

• Get answers: Open the Help Center AI assistant.
• Update your site design: Open the AI assistant in the Site Editor to change your site’s design.
• Draft and revise content: Create a new blog post with AI-powered writing assistance.
• Create beautiful images: Generate images using text descriptions in the media library.
