Bio
Hi, everybody, I am perhaps the most technology challenged person on the planet, but I have friends in high places. That is, I have a friend named Roberta Adams who is helping me from afar to set up this blog.
I have written a book called Don't Let the Devil Steal Your Song: A Memoir of Recovery from Parental Divorce with 20 Essentials for Finding Your Sweet Spot. I hope you will go to Westbow Press, Amazon or Barnes and Noble and look it up. You can get it in paper, hardbound or digital.
I think I may have lived more than one lifetime, I mean in real time. I do not believe in reincarnation, just so you know. Whatever you've got to do, you better do it now before you die, because after that, it's too late. First of all, you need to find Jesus, then worry about everything else.
I do a lot of things you might be able to relate to. I currently am a "literacy tutor" at an elementary school. I have a B.S. in Education (secondary) with a major in Spanish and a minor in French. I have a Master's degree in Family Relations and Child Development and a Ph. D. in Human Ecology with an emphasis in Child Development.
I have taught at two universities and written for three newspapers. Well, four, if you count one year writing one article a month for my local newspaper in a section directed at realtors and home owners.
I have been a professional musician, and, currently, am involved in church music and also play piano and sing in a trio with a singer who is 91 and the best guitar player I have ever had the honor of playing with.
I have been signed as a songwriter for a publisher in Nashville but left him after he decided not to let me finish songs on my own, so I have about 200 songs I need to work on, plus I want to write new ones. I have experienced discouragement, as have, perhaps, many of you.
I hope I can be of service to you in some way. Maybe we can help each other.
