The “login loop” you’re experiencing on charles-butler.co.uk is a classic conflict caused by your browser trying to use “Business Plan” session cookies to access a site that has reverted to a “Free Plan” structure. When you downgraded, the advanced Jetpack-enabled login system was deactivated, but your browser is still sending outdated credentials that the simplified WordPress server now rejects, resulting in the endless redirect back to the login page. To break this cycle, you must clear your browser’s cache and cookies specifically for WordPress.com and your domain, or simply open an Incognito/Private window to log in fresh. If the issue persists, it’s likely because the “plugin-enabled” version of your site is still cached on the server side; in this case, navigating to wordpress.com/sites and selecting the site directly from your global list—rather than using a bookmarked dashboard link—will usually force the correct, simplified editor to load.

    Hi there!

Thanks for the update. It appears there was some issue with the site upon deactivation of the Business plan.

I have sent you an email with further details. We are investigating further and will continue update on the email.

To avoid any confusion, I am closing this forum thread.
