  Why is it if I click a link on my page it changes the address.

  What do you exactly mean? Please give us a link that changes when you click it.

  @ndorokt, this is what links do. They lead you to different pages on your site or even different sites entirely. If I add the link to the WordPress.com support pages here: https://wordpress.com/support, and you click on it, you won’t see the address of the forum in the navigation bar on your browser anymore, instead, you’ll see the URL of the page I linked.
