    Price is clearly promoted at £3 per month, totalling £36 for the year. Payment came through as £43.20. For a personal plan, intrigued that it is not clear that VAT is still to be added.

    Blame the British Government for 20% VAT. If you are a VAT Registered business you can reclaim it anyway. If you go ahead with the plan then next year will cost you even more as the price of renewing a custom domain (if you choose to register one free for the first year) will be added to the cost of renewing the plan. But paying for a plan would have the benefit of removing all those adverts currently plastered over your site.
