Theme with multiple columns

  I’ve chosen a theme with multiple columns. How do I get the columns?? Only one and the sidebar shows up. Also, I don’t want a sidebar. How do I make that happen?

  Go to the very bottom of your theme and you will find a link to the themes description of the theme you are using http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/spectrum/

  I think I figured out what the 3-column thing is. You can have two columns of widgets (sidebars) with the one column for text. I want 3 columns of text. I want to do a website, not a blog.
  BTW, the theme I’m trying out is Able. Spectrum is another website I have.
