  Hi there: I don’t want the homepage “hero” banner to repeat on my posts. (The large black field with the site title in it).

  I tried editing the Single Post template, but that either A) hides all of the content in the posts or B) applies my changes to the *entire* site.

  Shorter version: I don’t want posts to have a giant header. I’d like a different template for posts than for the homepage.
