  Hello,

  On July 23, 2025, I informed the owners of a WordPress site that university funds can no longer be used to pay for site domains. I later learned that the university deactivated the student’s ( the owner’s) email address upon graduation. I requested that the current student contact the graduate, and I believed that was resolved, but I see I was charged on January 13, 2026. I am requesting a refund due to the unusual circumstances of this situation. To recap:

  • On July 23, 2025, I requested email requesting removal of my university issued credit card
  • I believed it was properly removed
  • I received the unexpected January 13th, 2026 charge
  • The account owner’s expired university email creates an access issue

  Please advise on what the next step is.
