Is there an option for password security (to access site) on Premium Site?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello!

So, unless you have a business account and want to use 3rd party plugins, you can only set a WordPress.com site to private, which would mean the user would have to email you to request access. This articleexplains how to do this, but basically you go to My Site → Settings and look for Privacy.

Other than that, I don’t believe there is any option without plugins to make a site password protected

Hi nickyterota,

There are two options for password protecting content on WordPress.com:
1. Set the site to private and invite users
2. Password protect individual posts and pages
Both of these features are available on all plans — both free and paid.

On another note, it seems that the ‘support’ option has been disabled on the webpage. Previously I could chat with a support engineer.

I am having trouble removing a ‘Static Front Page’.

Is this where you were trying to contact us from?

Previously I could chat with a support engineer.

Live chat is included in your plan but if all of our chat staff are busy, you will have the option the contact us by email instead. I can see you have already emailed us about your static front page and a member of staff has replied. Did you receive the email?
