My blog post has disappeared!

Hi all,
I’ve a private blog on wordpress which I use since around 14 years now. This has never happened earlier, but I see that there was a post I wrote in December end to Jan 1st week – and it has disappeared!!
I’m not hallucinating but I clearly write that blog post sitting on a beach in Goa posting all pictures etc and it WAS published, but now its not there!
I’ve checked the earlier forum post on another of a post getting disappeared and checked all solns – Trash, scheduled, etc. This isn;t a public blog so no cached copy also. No history in my browser too since I open this in incognito. The jetpack plugin shows history of 30 days and its been 30+ days now, so no help there as well. The worst part is that I had uploaded images which I then delete from my phone and thus the only copy that is there is on my blog – now I don’t have those pictures neither on phone nor in the media gallery.
Is this some persistent issue which happened with WP at the close of year or something? I’m very very puzzled at this! Any help would be hugely appreciated.

You just have to wait untill a Staff member is available; they are the only one who hav access to the backend of your site.
