Lightspeed integration blocked urgent help.

WooCommerce and Lightspeed have not been syncing for a couple of months now. It used to work fine before, and then suddenly the products stopped syncing and publishing, and then the online orders stopped showing up on Lightspeed from WooCommerce. With time, the Lightspeed plugin was messing up the orders. It was blocking the sales from being made on WooCommerce, so we had to deactivate it. I want to reactivate the Lightspeed plugin, but we need to fix the issue first. We don’t know exactly what the problem is or pinpoint what has been the problem between the two. Something is blocking them from lining up. When we got in touch with them with our web developer, they kept telling him they can’t help us distinguish with particular files. We have to activate the plugin in order for us to work on fixing it. WooCommerce needs to sync with Lightspeed, which it hasn’t been able to by the attempt of the web developer. And if we leave Lightspeed on, it blocks WooCommerce from transacting properly. It could be a lot of things, but can you tell me what we can look for to see how can we pinpoint what’s blocking it, narrow it down, and then trying to fix the sync?

The breakdown in your WooCommerce and Lightspeed sync is likely caused by a critical API authentication failure or a data bottleneck (such as duplicate SKUs) that is causing the plugin to “hang” during the checkout process. When the plugin blocks sales, it is often because it’s attempting to verify inventory with Lightspeed in real-time, but because the connection is “blocked” by a server firewall or an invalid API header, the checkout process times out or crashes to prevent a potential oversell. To resolve this without further disrupting your live store, your developer should use a staging environment to activate the plugin and check the WooCommerce Status Logs for specific “401 Unauthorized” or “422 Unprocessable Entity” errors. Pinpointing whether the issue is a server-level block on AWS IP addresses or a simple SKU mismatch will allow you to clear the “jam” and restore the bi-directional flow of orders and products.
