Image wrapping with Classic Editor
-
So we have a volunteer-run website that is still using the classic editor. Lately, we’ve been having trouble with our images not wrapping. On the backend, they look correct.

But, once it’s published it’s all wrong.

I looked around and I’m wondering it’s something to do with our theme, which is now xmag child theme. (A free version, I believe.) Also we are getting this warning message: Your site is running on an outdated version of PHP (7.4.33), which does not receive security updates. It should be updated.
Help!

Hi there, just to make sure we’re talking about the same thing, are you using the full Classic Editor, which looks like this

Or are you using the Classic Block in the Block Editor?
Once we know which interface, we can go forward.

Also, I only now noticed that you created this account just before posting your question in the forum, so please also include a link to the WordPress.com site you need help with. Thanks.

We can’t be much of a help as thjat site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/https://ft.floatinghomes.org
As it is a selfhosted site, you must head over to the wordpress.org website at https://wordpress.org/

I’m not sure what that means. What is the difference between the two wordpresses, .com and .org? Is one of them more adaptable than the other?

Thanks @staartmees and @themagicrobot
Hi @mindfullyparadise9cf2101691 since your site isn’t hosted here on WordPress.com, the best place to report this is on the support forum for the Classic Editor plugin https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/classic-editor/
Also, since you have a warning about updating PHP version, you may want to contact your web hosting provider’s support directly.

Thanks everyone. I think our little org is in over our head. We’re in Northern CA if you know of someone we could hire for help.
