  Oxygen theme: If I am not using a featured image in a post, how can I prevent a blank rectangle from appearing in my feed page where a featured image would usually be? I want my feed page to just be headlines and text, no images (by default – I do want the option to use a featured image sometimes)

  I’m sorry but the answer is you can’t. Unless you include a featured image that’s what happens ie. the display of an empty gray colored box.
