  I get an error when I export my blog and need to move it a hosted version of WordPress. I have tried on several occasions and this is the error.

  Firefox can’t find the file at https://psghelps.wordpress.com/wp-admin/export.php?download=true&content=all&cat=0&post_author=0&post_start_date=0&post_end_date=0&post_status=0&page_author=0&page_start_date=0&page_end_date=0&page_status=0&submit=Download+Export+File.

  Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
  Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.

  You export the content out of your WordPress.com blog onto your desktop and you do not open the export file because if you do that you corrupt it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/ Then you import the export file into the WordPress.org install.
