Are you trying to access a file on this blog?
http://jennifervietor.wordpress.com/
Could you post a link to the page where we can find the PDF link?

Hello,
yes, i was trying to access a PDF-file.This is the link:
http://jennifervietor.wordpress.com/2010/09/18/test-2/Know error 404 doesn’t occur anymore, but when trying to open the file, the article changes into a knew one with the PDF-filename as knew headline. Clicking than again on the “knew article” it is possible to open the file. I hope you can understand this explanation. It’s quite complicated to explain…

That’s the so-called attachment page; shows up when you have selected the “Post URL” option. When you upload the file, make sure you click the “File URL” option instead.

I get an Error 404 when I try to preview a draft of a new post. But once it also wanted me to sign back in again when I did it didn’t work. I am having other problems with wp but I don’t think it is related to this, because this is the first time I got an error 404. Any helpful information would be appreciated.-Anthony.

Hi Anthony,
Can you tell us which operating system your are using, and which browser and version of it you are using as well? You could have a browser issue so try changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies – instructions for specific browsers.
If that doesn’t work do you have another browser installed that you have tried? Sometimes using another browser will result in success.

Anthony, I’ve had instances where the preview did not work properly until I had actually saved the draft manually once. Not sure what causes that and it seems completely random. You might give that a try and see if it works.
