Can we Install 3rd Party Themes

    I see web sites selling themes to make a WordPress blog look like a traditional web site. The people I know who use them do not have their blog hosted at WordPress.com they are using the WordPress tools on different hosting services. If my blog is being hosted here on WordPress.com can I install a third party theme? If yes, can you show me the installation steps.

    No you can’t use 3rd party themes here – it is a security and reliability issue as well as the themes are highly modified to add functions not seen outside WordPress.COM that is why you have a ton of Widgets here – to make up for the Plug-in’s you also can’t use here.
