  I wish to save all my posts and content as another blog I am part of was “hacked by Hmei7”
  how do i back up – I’ve done the tools>export>download export file but ownder if this is a full back up.

  The XML export file contains all of your blog content. It does not and it cannot contain the theme or text widget content. You will have to make your own backups of text widget content.
