Gallery doesn’t display images on the home page

    I’m trying to make myself a portfolio and I have several pages on which the gallery function works. On the home page, however, when you click on the image you only get a black screen, and you cant even close this by pressing the X at the top. You have to reload the page to get out of it. It’s even the same on mobile.

    Idk what’s wrong considering it’s pretty much the exact same setup as I have on the pages where it works.

    I’m using the standard WP theme, I dont have any plugins. I tried to follow WPs automatic instructions (ensure that Enable carousel option is checked, images have proper titles, comments option is enabled for gallery images). The settings were all correct and the images are fine, but the gallery still doesn’t work on the home page.

    What else could I do?
