Silvio is a modern, clean, and elegant blog theme, perfect for sharing travel photos and stories. The theme was created with travelers, explorers, and adventure-related businesses in mind, helping you quickly and easily build a travel blog. Photography, food, fashion, or craft blogs are also a good fit for Silvio.
Easy to Use and Customize
Silvio is simple to set up and use, allowing you more time to focus on writing. Customize Silvio by adding a Custom Background, a Custom Header, or a social menu. You can also switch between three featured color schemes to instantly change the look of your blog.
Brand identity is very important — that’s why Silvio supports a Site Logo. To add your logo, navigate to Customize → Site Identity to upload an image. Your logo will appear in the header of your homepage, above the title.
Silvio features a responsive design that adapts smoothly to different screen sizes. Your content will look beautiful on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and large desktop screens.
Engage Your Readers with Images
Each post displays a full-screen Featured Image. Featured Images are also displayed on your blog’s homepage. Set an engaging featured image to create a rich visual experience for your stories.
Images are a great way to draw readers to your writing. You can use pull images in your posts and pages to add visual interest without sacrificing the readability of your text. Align any image to the left or right, and it will automatically overhang your text column on larger screens.
Useful Widget Areas
Silvio is designed to display your posts without the distraction of a sidebar. You can still add a sidebar, if you like, by adding widgets to the main widget area. This easily accessible area is tucked away under a button. You can also add widgets to three optional widget areas in the footer. All widget areas will stay hidden unless you add widgets to them.
Social Media Menu
Silvio allows you display links to your social media profiles using a Social Links menu. Create a new Custom Menu, and add links to each of your social services using the Links panel. Assign your newly-created menu to the Social Links Menu location. The icons will show up in your site footer, as well as the header of your homepage. You can hide the menu in either location from the Customize → Theme Options panel.
Linking to any of the following sites will automatically display its icon in your menu:
- RSS Feed (urls with /feed/)
