Featured Content Slider
Olsen allows you to set up to six posts as “featured,” which means they’ll be displayed in a slider above the rest of your blog posts.
To add a post to the Featured Content Slider, the first step is to pick a special tag and set that in the Customizer’s Featured Content panel. For example, if you set the tag to be featured, all posts tagged with “featured” will be displayed in the Featured Content slider.
To set your special tag, go to My Sites → Customize → Featured Content and type in the tag in the Tag name field.
To add a post to the Featured Content slider, start a new post at My Sites → Blog Posts → Add, give it a title, and add content that you want to be shown on the slider. Add a Featured Image to the post, and add the special tag that you set in the previous step. Publish the post and it will show up on the Featured Content slider.
To make your content stand out more on post listing pages. you can add Featured Images to them. Featured Images need to be at least 720 pixels wide. If you tag a post to be used in the Featured Content slider, the recommended image dimensions are 1010 by 545 pixels.
The Main Menu appear in the header area of the theme, just below the site title.
You can set up your Social Menu and Olsen will display it in two places: above the site title and in the footer of the theme. Supported services are:

Olsen has two widget areas: the Sidebar and the Footer. If no widgets are added to the sidebar widget area, the sidebar is not be displayed and your main content area will be wider. Widgets in the Footer will always be full width of the site. Both widget areas can be accessed under Customize → Widgets.
Instagram Widget in the Footer
The footer widget area has custom styling for the Instagram widget, displaying your images in a horizontal row. To display your Instagram feed in the footer, navigate to Customize → Widgets and add the Instagram widget to the Footer Widget area. Make sure to set the number of columns to one.
Navigate to Customize → Site Identity to upload your own logo.
