Lyretail WordPress theme

Lyretail puts your social presence front and center, displaying social links prominently below the site title and logo, so readers can easily find you on your favorite social networks.

Site Title and Logo

To add a site title and a site logo to your site, go to My Sites → Customize → Site Identity. You’ll be able to add or edit the site title and the tagline and upload a logo to your site.

Custom Header Image

To show a large header image across the top of your site, you can go to Customize → Header Image and upload a header image for your site. You can also add Featured Images to posts and pages to add a splash of visual interest in the header.

Social Links Menu

To add a social media profile link to the Social Links menu, go to Customize → Menus and choose the menu that is set as the Social Links. If no menu is set, you can create one and set that menu as the social links of the site.

Linking to any of the following sites in the Social Links Custom Menu will automatically display its icon:

Slide-out Menu

When activated, your Custom Menu or Widgets will appear in a convenient slide-down menu. Click on the arrow icon in the upper right corner to display the panel.

To add menu items to the menu, go to Customize → Menus. To add widgets, go to Customize → Widgets.

Other Features

Lyretail supports the following features:

Quick Specs (all measurements in pixels)

  1. The main column width is 660.
  2. The slide-down menu width varies depending on the screen size and number of active widget areas.
  3. The site logo displays at a maximum height of 150.
  4. Custom Header dimensions are fluid, displayed at varying widths and heights, depending on the screen size.
