If the footer widget area is empty and Infinite Scroll is active, your site will automatically load seven posts at a time. If you have footer widgets or have turned off Infinite Scroll, you’ll need to click “Older posts” button to load more posts. In that case, we recommend setting five, eight or 11 posts per page in order to avoid gaps in your layout. You can configure the number of posts displayed in Settings → Reading, next to “Blog pages show at most.”
Supported social media sites include:
Setting the Sidebar Position
If the sidebar is active, it will be displayed on the right by default. You can also choose to move it to the left.
- Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Theme.
- Select your option from the dropdown list under the Sidebar Position label.
- Click Save & Publish.
Setting Up The Full-Width Template
Create or edit a page, and assign it to the Full-Width Page template from the Page Attributes box.
Hermes offers two widget areas, which can be configured in Appearance → Widgets.
Text Styling Options
You can style your post introduction and add drop caps to your paragraphs. Those two styling options are available only in Single-page views.
Simply wrap your paragraph with a “p” tag that has the “intro” class.
<p class="intro">Dummy text is text that is used in the publishing industry or by web designers to occupy the space...</p>
Simply wrap the first letter of your paragraph with a “span” tag that has “dropcap” class.
<span class="dropcap">M</span>aecenas nec nunc et ligula egestas mattis ac eget sem.
