Forefront is a fully responsive theme that helps you to create a strong–yet beautiful–online presence for your business. Forefront’s layout adjusts itself depending on the device you are using. This means your site will look good not only on laptop browsers, but also on devices with smaller screens, such as the iPad and iPhone.
Custom Page Templates
Forefront has three custom page templates that are great for business and corporate websites.
Front Page Template
As the name suggests, this template is perfect for the front page where you can introduce your business to the world. Rich, powerful, and flexible, the front page template includes three optional widget areas, a big leading image with a call-to-action, and two testimonials. (See the image at the top.)
Grid Page Template
The grid template is great for a portfolio page, a case study page, or a page to introduce your team members.
Full Width Page Template
The full-width template gives you plenty of space to embed a map of your office or showreels.
Testimonials from happy customers and clients are important to include on your site to establish trust and encourage potential customers.
Forefront features testimonials in three ways:
- Two randomly chosen testimonials appear on the front page template so that every testimonial has an equal chance to be there.
- The dedicated testimonial archive page displays all testimonials in reverse chronological order, with the newest displayed first.
- The Testimonial Shortcode allows you to display the testimonials wherever you want on your site.
To add a testimonial, go to My Site → Testimonials → Add. Testimonials are composed of the testimonial text, the name of the customer — added as testimonial title — and an image or logo, which can be added as a Featured Image.
Testimonial Archive Page
Where is the Testimonial archive page?
Let’s say you have a WordPress.com site at:
The URL of the testimonial archive page will be:
This page can be further customized by adding a title, intro text, and featured image via Customizer → Testimonials. This content will appear above the testimonials list.
If you connect your site to popular social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus or Tumblr with Publicize, the social media icons will show up at the bottom right corner of your site.
Widgets are flexible and great tool to customizing your sites.
Forefront offers four widget areas:
- Sidebar widget area which appears on the right.
- Optional footer widget area.
- Two optional widget areas on the front page template.
Custom Header and Logo
Want to upload your logo? Sure thing! Forefront supports a flexible custom header image with a maximum width of
330 pixels, which you can configure under Customize → Header Image.
Customize Even More
Of course Forefront supports Custom Backgrounds so that you can change the background color or image as a background of your site. When you purchase the Premium Plan or Business Plan, both come with the Custom Design upgrade, so you can change fonts and some key colors so that your site fits with your corporate identity.
