Book Lite is a beautifully designed theme inspired by old-fashioned typography. With a bold custom header, stylized type, featured header images, and elegantly simple design, it’s certain to inspire some of your best work.

Featured Header Images

If a featured image is assigned to a page or post, the image will appear as a background to the header (in place of the custom header, if one is set).

Widgets

You can configure up to three footer widget areas by going to Customize → Widgets.

Custom Menu

This theme includes one drop-down navigation menu in the header. By default it will display your Pages, but you can also assign a custom menu to the Primary Menu area under Customize → Menus.

Note: Book Lite works best with a smaller menu when viewing on a mobile device. The custom menu’s appearance also changes slightly when a custom header is not set — this is normal.

Custom Header and Background

Book Lite allows you to set a large custom header under Customize → Header Image. Custom Header works best with an image at least 1440px wide and 500px tall. You can also customize the theme with a background color or image by going to Customize → Colors & Backgrounds.
