Babylog is the perfect theme for chronicling your little one’s first year (and beyond!) The playful, sweet design will take you from first smiles to first steps, and you can even customize the baby graphic to look like your own bundle of joy! Read on to find out how to make Babylog.
You can find several ways to customize Babylog by going to the My Sites → Customize. Choose between four theme color schemes — Purple (default), Pink, Green, and Blue — then customize your blog’s baby graphic with your child’s skin tone and hair color. You can live preview your selections live at the top of the screen.
Full-width Page Template
Babylog includes a full-width page template that removes the primary sidebar, giving you plenty of extra room to show off those beautiful baby photos! Set it up by creating a new Page, then selecting Full Width, No Sidebar under Page Options → Template.
Babylog supports one Primary Menu in the header, and it can be configured it by going to Customize → Menus.
Custom Header and Background
Personalize Babylog even further by adding a flexible-height custom header by going to Customize → Header Image. You can also change out the background by going to Customize → Colors & Backgrounds.
Babylog supports one sidebar which can be configured by going to Customize → Widgets.
