Knole (Part 2)

Following on from Sunday’s blog post, here are the rest of my images from my wanderings at Knole.  The colours and appearance of the final image are as close as possible to the view that unfolded before me when I walked down the hill; the muted tones struck me as unusual and I felt obliged to try to capture them!

Out of Focus

On the Hill

Wildlife photography is not my forte, but I couldn’t miss this opportunity.  Knole Park, in Sevenoaks, is home to 350 wild deer and visitors are almost guaranteed to see at least one or two.

Checking the BBC website on Saturday for Sunday’s weather left us with the impression, that Sunday would be overcast, miserable and not a great day out…  So what a pleasant surprise we had when we woke up Sunday morning and the skies were blue with little puffs of white cloud. 297 more words


Knole Park tips

Knole, in Sevenoaks, is wonderful in all seasons and weathers, though hardly an undiscovered gem. And it’s the best option for a mud-free(ish) walk in winter. 202 more words
